We have a nice variety of Show & Tell this month! There are some Christmas projects and some everyday quilts too. Thank you to everyone who has participated this year! We will keep this up until we are able to meet in person which will hopefully happen sometime in 2021. Happy New Year to all our members and everyone who follows this blog.
For anyone interested in an online workshop opportunity with Jody Alexander (our December Zoom meeting presenter), please scroll to the bottom of this post for the information.
Diana Knight (next 4 photos)- The cross stitch was a gift from my mother, I added the border.
Wynne Osborne (next three photos)- My project is to patiently wait for the closet system which will help me put a lot into my closet and the new bookcases too. In the meantime I am more sympathetic to the hoarders I see on TV. It’s hard to figure out where to start. These photos actually represent progress🤪
Kris Kronmiller (next 2 photos)
Patti Stewart (next 2 photos)- This is from a Jen Kingwell class that I took called “Shadow Moon.” The pandemic allowed me to hand piece the circles. Kim McCray did a beautiful job of quilting it.
Pam Beyer- I completed Frolic, Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilt from last winter.
Kristin Shields- I finished the binding on this quilt a few days before Christmas. It is called Noel after the block with the vintage Noel tea towel I cut up. It was quilted by Kim McCray.
A message from Jody Alexander:
Thanks for inviting me to talk to your wonderful group. It was fun.
I forgot to mention that I am teaching a zoom workshop in January that covers many of the mending techniques seen in last night's talk. Here is information about that:
