At our September meeting the August Quilt Show in the Park Viewer's Choice winners were announced. Congratulations to all the winners!
I have used the best photo that I have for each quilt. First place for the overall Viewer's Choice was this quilt by Jill M depicting a rufous hummingbird and made for the guild's Ruby Celebration exhibit at the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show.
Second Place for Viewer's Choice is this quilt by Cindy O. Cindy's quilt was inspired by The Night Circus for the Undercover Quilter's book quilt exhibit.
Third Place for Viewer's Choice is this hummingbird quilt by Patti S. This one was also made for the Ruby Celebration exhibit for the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show.
The next three quilts won Viewer's Choice for the Clue Challenge. Above is Cindy O's quilt which won First Place.
Becky V's quilt won Second Place for the Clue Challenge.
Third Place was won by Kristin S.
The following quilts were shown by members of various small groups that presented to the guild this month. We were treated to a vast array of quilts and group styles. Some are round robin groups, some are inspired by books, some are inspired by making quilts for others and some groups are made to share the love of sewing.
