Enjoy the beauty of this wonderful quilt showing many of the seasonal pleasures of our area of Oregon.
Our thanks go to Barb Fortman who masterfully assembled the quilt blocks made by several guild members, and to Kim McCray for her wonderful quilting enhancing the quilt even more.
Please consider signing up for a shift (or two) to sell tickets through the next few months. It is an easy and relaxing way to help our guild to raise much needed funds for our guild projects.
Please also think about purchasing tickets for yourself. Tickets for this quilt would also be a very nice small gift for your doctor, accountant, lawyer, dentist, coffee shop, knitting group, Friday lunch bunch, family members, brew pub, or many of the local businesses who might hang it on one of their office walls.
Your help makes this quilt super successful as it deserves to be.
Proceeds from the sale of raffle tickets are used to benefit the Bend community and our community quilting activities. Annually, we make and donate in the neighborhood of 400 quilts to local organizations. Among those organizations are Ronald McDonald House, Kid's Center, Partners in Care, Bend High School Teen Parent Program, Cascade Youth Services, Saving Grace, J Bar J Ranch, and Dawn's House. All those who receive a quilt are allowed to take it with them after the services provided. Many families of those in Hospice are allowed to keep the quilts.
