Well, I guess this is a case of better late than never! The February gallery at QuiltWorks features quilts by several guild members. Past president Shannon P is the featured quilter! Her exhibit is a fresh and fun example of the outstanding work by this prolific quilter. If you haven't been to see it yet, the exhibit will be up through Wednesday this week.
On the other side of the gallery is the Clue Challenge quilts from our guild members. This was last year's guild challenge. The theme was to choose a suspect, weapon and room from the classic game of Clue and be inspired by them. The quilts are very unique. The viewers had fun trying to figure out the 3 parts of the game for each quilt. These Clue quilts will also be displayed at the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show this July.
Speaking of challenges, Shannon P is going to head up this year's challenge and the details will be revealed at the next guild meeting. Stay tuned!
