Important info about our meeting at Partners in Care! Even though the address is NE Wyatt Ct., the entrance and parking are on Courtney. When you turn on to Courtney off of 27th Street stay on Courtney and proceed past Wyatt Ct. The entrance is on Courtney on the left.
Doors open at 5:15 and the meeting begins at 5:30.
June 10, 2024 - Leilani Purvis, a fiber artist and member of Mountain Meadows Quilt Guild, held us captive sharing her trunk show and quilt & fiber journey!
Leilani also offered a 2-day workshop focusing on Thread Painting! Open to guild members and non-guild members, and was held on June 20 & 21 in the Cynthia's Sewing classroom.
April 8, 2024 - This guild meeting featured to a variety of techniques by our own guild members! We werel be able to watch a short demonstration by Caryl Hancock on creating marbled fabric; Gaye Lawson on showing paper piecing; Joyce Andrew showing prairie points, Martha Sanders on stamping and printing on fabric, and Barb Fortman creating a rope bowl!!

Lisa and Lori Lubbesmeyer are Bend twin artists with backgrounds in printmaking and painting. They have been collaborating their talents on individual works of art - in both fabric, paint and mixed media - for the past 20 years. Come and learn about their journey, their techniques and see some of their beautiful work.

Guest speaker Kellie Kaczmarek of Silly Moon Quilting will give a presentation on "Machine Quilting with Rulers" on both a domestic machine and a long-arm machine.

Journeys Quilt Group - This group of quilt artists discuss the various processes they use to create their original art quilts. This is a group of very talented quilt artists, and their work is always a thrill to see whether they hang in a quilt show or gallery, but it is even more inspiring to hear their journey with their quilt.
April 2022 - Guest Speaker Veruschka Zarate
Our guest speaker was Veruschka Zarate, of Pride & Joy Quilting. She explored the use of foundation paper piecing to bring about fresh and modern pieces for quilters to
make. She also discussed her development as a quilt maker and designer by sharing tips, tricks and techniques that she has learned. During her presentation, Veruschka included a trunk show of her special quilts.
September 2021 - Guest Speaker Tami Graeber
We had our final outdoor, in-person guild meeting of the year this month. It was a nice evening and we were delighted to have guest speaker Tami Graeber talk about her award-winning quilts.
July 2021 - In Person at the Mt High Gazebo
The July guild meeting was a fun time. We had perfect weather for an evening outdoor meeting and everyone enjoyed seeing friends and quilts in person! We voted on the Challenge Quilts too.
2014
2014 started out with a bang with our special guest speaker, Sarah Kaufman, author of Folded Log Cabin Quilts. Sarah is a resident of Bend and aren't we lucky to have her! She brought a unique collection of quilts. The log cabin ideas were an excellent way to inspire us for our own Log Cabin quilt challenge.
